Therefor the 'cubby holes' do not exist as things change. If the world is considered developed today how can one say that the tomorrow it is undeveloped? And presume yesterday was a world developed. If yesterdays' world by thinkers of the human race considered their day 'developed' of the tomorrow no questions would be asked.
